Back home

Finally back home, after many many days of studying at NUS and sleeping at my aunt's. It just feel great to be back. My room.

Forced myself to take a break and came back home although I will be going back sch early in the morning tmrw to continue the simulation assignment. Coming back home give me a not-so-stress feeling since i am far away from the center of work.

Have been neglecting my family for a long time. grandparents went to KL last sat morning, cousin back from US but havent got a chance to meet her. MIT is really stress.

Some info I found from MIT ISO: for yr 2004-05, there are 4437 undergraduate students of which 9 are Singaporeans. there are 6622 graduate students of which 51 are Singaporeans. So, I shld be very glad that i am part of the very small number of Singaporeans who make it into the world best university???? happy, but the price is high......If only it is not so stressful......

1/3 of the class is dropping hair, all except 2 are losing weight, all are losing sleep, most are become panda.......

Finally got some time to play with my new handphone.

This is where I work and sleep and spend 99% of my time. My desk in the atheneum at SMA in NUS and my aunt house where I sleep almost everyday from 0030 am to 0655 am.

Very busy

Very long didnt update the blog already. tonight, finally finish my PDE report after working for over a week, asking Vinn Tan countless time and have many discussion w Su hua, Homan, JJ and Abby. 10 mins before the last bus leave n i have some time left.

Have been staying at my aunt house for 2 months now. this week is the 2nd week that I am not able to go back home n have to sleep at my aunt house even for the weekend. Just too many assignments.

Everyday got stuff to do and dateline is never ending. JJ told Parlio to postponed the dateline as we have too much stuff to do. For the whole week, I have been sleeping in class during the morning lecture. Just too tired.

Last sat, my dad birthday, went out and have a breather, bought a new hp for $400. now, i only know how to make call n send sms from my new phone. dont even have the time to explore all the new features.

Life is so stress. luckily, it is not boring. last thur, it was raining at night. during the walk back from the bustop to my aunt house, i hear frogs crocking along the drain. It was loud n low but a new sound. i standed there for awhile in the rain listening to the frog.....

finally found something that google or yahoo search machine didnt throw up

Went to temple yesterday, the very famous one at waterloo st, 4 ma lu guan yin tang. pray and ask for advice. realise that 解签 service is not online, have to go back to the old traditional way of looking for the old and yellow booklet at home.

2 things that most pple dont know:

1. there are 2 parts to the 签, the surface meaning and the inner meaning. the surface meaning can be read off the paper, there are even english meaning to it. but the inner explanation is only available in the booklet, which most of the gals in my class dont know. no wonder their 姻缘签 all not working.

2. 签, that pink piece of paper, need to be burned 3 days after u got it from temple. MH kept that paper for more than 3 weeks? maybe......

What I ask? take a look n see if u can guess it right. But, the inner explanation is not shown. hehe
