DH show me the rock on V hand last night. Finally, all is settled. That rock didnt cost much, but i believe a bigger rock is on the way. :P

Read an article recently abt the 物质享受 and 精神享受. I know myself that I am not a guy that emphasis alot on 物质享受, 鱼片米粉 is enough to last a meal. Money spent shldnt be more or less but instead 有没有价值.

Was chatting with lao shi that day, she cant imagine a guy spending so much money on a gal, esp if they just know each other. I agree with her. This is a catch-22 situation, such a gal wont interest me much. I believe that that gal wont have much interest in me either.

sometime i do wonder, what is the pt of spending so much money on a rock to prove your love? Society norm may be 1, all the diamond industry fault. 钻石恒久远，一颗永留传 is all rubbish. Do u know that most of rock produced by the world (except Australia and Canada), are extracted using child labour? Every rock u wear is smeared with the blood and sweat of some children.

The most impt thing is to treat her nice for the rest of your life. My grandma married my grandpa using 4 golden ring, no pattern, just plain rings. 情比金坚 is another slogan? They are married for 53 years.

DH told me that if i tell this story to any gal, that gal will ask u to marry your grandma.

The impt thing is not what u do at the ceremony or what u offer at the ceremony. the impt thing is what u do afterwards.

Again, 精神享受 is more than enough for me. Of cse i cant expect a gal to share the same mindset w me. 物质享受 is impt for most gals. See how it goes.
